JD Power: New Cars Suzuki and Toyota's Most Qualified

JAKARTA - The types of Suzuki and Toyota cars, was considered the most qualified according to research conducted by J. D. Power Asia Pacific for '2009 Indonesia Initial Quality Study '(IQS).

This research was conducted on 2034 new vehicle owners who purchased cars between October 2008 until July 2009. This study memeng evaluation model 33 passenger vehicles and utility vehicles from 9 brands of vehicles in Indonesia.

JD Power measures more than 200 issues, covering eight categories namely, the exterior of driving experience, features / controls / display, audio / entertainment system / navigation, seats, air ventilation / cooling, vehicle interior, and engine / transmission.

The whole point is summed up in a number of issues that arise per 100 vehicles (PP100). The smaller the resulting number PP100, menuru more problems, the quality of new cars the better.

The result, Suzuki SX4 ranked top for premium compact car segment with a value of 72 PP100, followed by the Toyota Yaris (85) and Honda Jazz (88).

In the SUV segment, Toyota Rush in the top position (103), Isuzu Panther (126) and Daihatsu Terios (143). Meanwhile, the medium SUV segment, Toyota Fortuner lead (60), followed by Nissan X-Trail (74), and Honda CR-V (115). Finally, in the MPV segment, Suzuki APV lead (131), Daihatsu Luxio (147) and Toyota Avanza (150).
