Camaro SS It's So Six time Indianapolis 500 Pace Car

Los Angeles - Chevrolet Camaro SS official supplies that will appear as the Indianapolis 500 pace car. The car which officially will be present in public May 30, 2010 next year, while making Camaro for the sixth time the pace car since first appearing in 1967.

"We enjoy being together with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway throughout the years. We are also proud to be able to rejoin the Indianpolis 500," said Chevrolet General Manager Jim Campbell.

Camaro SS 6.2L V8 engine brings the maximum power capable of producing 400hp. Camaro SS accessories including front grille insert the new, the Indianapolis 500 logo in the left-right sampaing door, amber lens tail lamp, and the 2010 Indianapolis 500 logos on driver and passenger headrest. "Chevrolet once again to do with the Chevy Camaro SS and this car looks beautiful," said President and Chief Executive Officer of Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation Jeff Belskus.

Camaro became one of the most successful sports car in the United States (U.S.) after selling an average of 6000 units per month in the last six months
