Chrysler tech production machinery for fiat FIRE

Michigan, automakers from Detroit, United States of Chrysler Group will invest U.S. $ 179 million to produce the Fiat 1.4-liter engine in the Global engine manufacturing plant Allance (GEMA) in Michigan. Start engine production activities conducted in the last quarter of 2010 and the first car that will use the technology Fiat FIRE is 500. Production of the new car will be done in the next 2011.

As information, the Chrysler Group has two factories in industrial complexes GEMA is located north of Ann Arbor Road outside the Dundee area. This factory was built in October 2005 and became one of the production base in the U.S. manufacturer.
