JAKARTA - Pajero Sport seems increasingly to be the belle of the new Mitsubishi. Proven demand for Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) was jumped sharply in the month of November 2009.Based on combined data Indonesian Motor Vehicle Industry (Gaikindo), wholesales for the Pajero Sport last month reached 1200 units.
Whereas in previous months, demand for passenger cars are only seven in the 285-level units. Even sales in November was the largest attendance since the Pajero sport earlier in June 2009.
Through the Pajero Sport, Mitsubishi also managed to beat the sales of Toyota Fortuner in the same period only 905 units sold.
Of the total sales of the Pajero Sport, the biggest demand comes from the type 2.5-liter automatic 4x2, which reached sales of 1016 units. While the 4x4 variants, PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) as the holder of Mitsubishi brand vehicles only managed to hand over 184 units.
