Berlin - European manufacturers from Germany, Audi will issue 5 new car next year. One of them is a car with a hybrid engine.
As quoted from the Audi press release Global, Wednesday (30/12/2009) The fifth car was Audi A1, A7, A8 and R8 Spyder and the Audi Q5 hybrid version.
To prepare the Audi model to disburse funds of 7.3 billion euros disbursed in stages starting from 2009 until 2012. Approximately 80 percent of these funds or about 5.9 billion euros for the development of new products and technologies.
"With these investments, we are creating the foundation for future growth
our company, "says Audi Board Member for Finance AG and Axel Strotbek Organization.
Both Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm plants would be increased, with the opening of the center of the transmission and emission studies in Neckarsulm, and the structure and equipment manufacturing stamping at the Ingolstadt factory.
Q5 Hybrid
Although the time argued that the European diesel engine technology can be more effective in an environmentally friendly car, but in fact the Audi still plans to develop hybrid cars.
Audi argues, diesel engine technology makes more sense, both financially and practicality, especially for the American market. However, it turned this time as a hybrid model being prepared.
If so, then the Audi Q5 hybrid will be a full model of Audi's first hybrid, which can contribute to the German premium manufacturer of a product that is consistent with the mission of a green environment.
And of course, the presence of hybrid Q5 will significantly enhance the sales of the Audi SUV, though of course the addition of a hybrid engine development costs need to be reconsidered by Audi.
Unfortunately, Audi did not want to disclose details about the Q5 Hybrid, like the type of engine and battery sophistication. However, promising Audi Q5 Hybrid will be introduced late 2010.
