Mitsubishi MiEV Win Paul Pietsch Award 2010

TOKYO, The passion of the world to improve electric cars, making cars one of the electric power produced by the iMiEV obtain Mitsbishi prestigious award from the magazine Auto Motor und Sport, Germany, the Paul Pietsch Award.

Awards received by members of the Board of Directors of Mitsubishi Motors' victories Product Strategy & Development Group, Gayu Uesugi.

In Japan i-MiEV has been marketed since July 2009 while the export version left wheel, will be produced in October this year.

Mitsubsihi plans to launch iMiEV in Europe at the end of this year. Battery charging system will be identified with the electrical architecture of the houses in Europe, which is 220/240 volts. Charging the battery from empty to full takes 7 hours.

"We are very proud to accept this award from a jury of International Caliber. They give credit to our electric cars because of the technology iMiEV. In this respect also, we believe, iMiEV marketing success in Europe," says Uesugi.

Mitsubishi has developed a prototiope iMiEV of standard or for everyday use, Sport and the cargo version, or carrier of goods.
