Mercedes-Benz Luxury Cars Stay Bestsellers

JAKARTA - In the continued rise of the premium car market, Mercedes-Benz continues to lead with proven market share reached 69 percent.

Based on data reported by PT Mercedes Benz Indonesia (MBI), an increase in luxury car sales in Indonesia in 2009 rose 12 percent compared to last year.

MBI as a target premium market leader until the end of 2009, sales reached 2800 units in 3000 to 60 per cent share. Meanwhile, increased sales of Mercedes-Benz alone in Indonesia until the end of this year reached 15 percent.

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz sales in all retail during the first nine months of this year or 2931 units rose 0.3 percent.
